CHED ALLOWS NORTHERN ILOILO STATE U TO REOPEN CAMPUS FOR F2F
THE COMMISSION on Higher Education allowed the Northern Iloilo State University to reopen its campuses for the conduct of face-to-face classes.
NISU received the certification from CHED allowing it to hold classes for 27 programs in its main campus in Estancia, Iloilo.
The certification is valid from April 28, 2022 to April 27, 2023 and subject for revocation.
“This authority shall be subject to revocation if the herein institution fails to maintain and to comply with rules and regulations stated in the said Joint Circular pertaining to limited face-to-face classes,” the certificate read.
Among the courses that will resume in-person learning are midwifery, public administration, business administration, entrepreneurship and tourism.
CHED in April handed NISU its certification as an official state university from being the Northern Iloilo Polytechnic State College.
