CEU OFFERS DATA PLANS TO STUDENTS

/ 22 October 2020

THE CENTRO Escolar University, through a partnership with Globe Telecom, offers internet packages to its students to help with online learning.

Students can choose from several data plans for CEU’s learning platform LEAPS and CELP LMS built on the Canvas application. Their Internet kit will be allocated 25GB for learning.

The university said that since the LEAPS and CELP LMS are whitelisted from the package, the 25GB data allocation cannot be used in any other application.

“Since you cannot use the 25GB for any other app, this will ensure that you will have an affordable and adequate data allowance for your online learning needs,” the school said.

Students can visit the CEU official website to register for the data plan. Costs range from P600 to P1,599.

To apply for their internet kits, students would need to go to any Globe Telecom office.  They will then be notified through email where to pick up their kit.

The internet kit will come with a SIM card that will be registered to mySchool300 which features 5GB open access data along with the 25GB data allocation for the learning platforms.

Students can opt to use their existing mobile number and choose between a 25GB and a 15GB plan. Both feature the 5GB open access data allocation.

For inquiries, students can contact the school through [email protected].
