THE COMMISSION on Higher Education has allowed Cebu Normal University to hold limited face-to-face classes for its nursing students.

The university was given the green light after it was found to have complied with the requirements set down by the Department of Health and the Inter-Agency Task Force .

Officials of CHEd and the DoH, as well as representatives of the city inspected the school to determine its preparedness to conduct physical classes.

The inspection covered essential areas such as institutional policies and protocols, learning continuity plans, and retrofitting of facilities.

CHEd has allowed at least 13,000 students taking Medicine, Nursing, Medical Technology/Medical Laboratory Science, Physical Therapy, Midwifery, and Public Health to attend face-to-face classes.

The CNU was among hundreds of schools that sought CHEd permission to resume physical classes.
