A GRADUATE of the Cebu Institute of Medicine topped the Physician Licensure examination given last month.

Justin Riley Yap Lam got a rating of 89 percent.

Miguel Enrique Singson Roa of the Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health came in second with 88.58 percent, while Sean Michael Payongayong Orbigo of the Far Eastern University-Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation placed third with 88.50 percent.

A total of 4,083 graduates out of 6,456 examinees passed the exam.

The best-performing school with 50 or more examinees who passed was the University of the Philippines Manila, with 164 out of its 168 examiners passing or 97.62% test takers making it.
