CAMPUS JOURNALISTS BACK CASH AID FOR STUDENTS
CAMPUS journalists from various student publications nationwide pushed the appeal to the government to provide P10,000 financial assistance to students.
The College Editors Guild of the Philippines said that the cash aid will allow students to continue their education amid the pandemic.
“Given the force-fed flexible learning system, students have been exploited with the expenses — internet, gadgets, electricity, tuition fee increase, and other school fees with no proper liquidation,” the group added.
The CEGP lamented that students have been victimized “gravely by the government’s anti-poor flexible learning system.”
The group said it has to work for the better good of the people through right reportage.
