CAGAYAN STATE U TO HOLD LIMITED F2F CLASSES

/ 31 January 2021

THE CAGAYAN State University plans to hold limited face-to-face classes for medicine and allied health services programs.

Based on the report of The CSU Communicator, CSU Andrew’s official student publication, the administration has been studying the measure and will be submitted to proper authorities after deliberations.

University Vice-President for Academic Affairs Mariden Cauilan said students who will undergo on-the-job training or clerkship will be given prioritization for the pilot testing of limited physical classes.

“When the situation warrants, the necessary proposal will be forwarded,” Cauilan said as posted on The CSU Communicator’s Facebook post.

President Duterte approved the resumption of limited face-to-face classes in areas under General Community Quarantine and modified GCQ on Tuesday for institutions that cater to Covid19 patients.

“Ito po ay para hindi tayo maubusan ng mga doctor kung hindi po magpapatuloy ‘yung mga face-to-face (classes) ng mga doctor at allied professionals,” Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque said in a press briefing.

The Commission on Higher Education has yet to release the guidelines for limited physical classes.
