CAGAYAN STATE U OPENS DOORS FOR FLOOD VICTIMS IN THE REGION

THE CAGAYAN State University is opening its doors to accommodate flood victims in the Cagayan Region.

The Andrews and Carig campus gymnasiums will serve as temporary shelter of those affected by the flooding brought about by the waters released from the Magat Dam due to the recent spate of typhoons.

“Cagayan State University Andrews Campus and Carig Campus open its doors for evacuees. The gymnasiums of both campuses are willing to accommodate flood victims for temporary shelter,” the CSU Office of the President announced on Facebook.

Evacuation centers in the province are already full following the massive flooding that submerged the whole of Cagayan.

Meanwhile, relief and rescue operations are being scheduled to aid flood victims in the region.
