CAGAYAN State University President Urdujah Alvarado welcomed delegates of Saint Louis University Baguio during a recent orientation meeting.

The 12 SLU representatives were led by school Vice President for Administration Dr. Felerina Ellamil along with directors, head officers, and deans.

During the orientation meeting, Alvarado gave them a formal welcome to the university and briefed them on the procedures and best practices of CSU in relation to RDE, internationalization, CSU-YET Projects, and external communications.

After the conference, the delegates were toured to the CSU campuses in Tuguegarao, CSU Andrews, and CSU Carig, where they went to the Research Development and Extension facilities that are housed on each campus.

In her message, Dr. Ellamil expressed appreciation for the different presentations as it gave them a grasp of the academic landscape of the university.

”This is a much-awaited event for us because we would like to see how we could get better and collaborate with an esteemed university like CSU,” she added.

Ellamil stressed the readiness for a partnership where CSU and SLU-Baguio may pool resources to grow the niches created by both institutions.
