BISCAST HOLDS 2-DAY DRY RUN FOR RETURN OF F2F CLASSES

BICOL State College of Applied Sciences and Technology held a two-day face-to-face classes dry run in preparation for the return of in-person learning.

According to official student publication of the school, BISCAST Collegian, students from different colleges participated in the dry run representing the College of Engineering and Architecture, College of Education, and College of Trades and Technology, among others.

Courses with laboratory subjects were the ones chosen to participate as they will be the priority for the return of physical classes.

The dry run was conducted last March 21 and 22.

BISCAST has yet to announce the target date for the resumption of in-person classes.

The Commission on Higher Education said schools opting to hold in-person classes must have a high vaccination rate, retrofitted classrooms, and approval from the concerned government agencies.

The Inter-Agency Task Force Against Covid19 said schools under Alert Levels 1, 2, and 3, can hold physical classes, subject to regulations.
