THE BILIRAN Province State University unveiled nine new infrastructure projects as part of its aim to provide better facilities to students.

BiPSU said that the new automotive building, academic and wellness center, ceramics building, technology building, sports center, student center, dormitory, and renovated gymnasium were completed amid the pandemic.

The construction and renovation of the facilities cost P345 million.

“BiPSU’s construction of the various infrastructure facilities is a manifestation of the University’s commitment to providing the best quality of education to its students by upgrading and constructing state-of-the-art facilities,” the university said.

“[the] construction of buildings symbolizes the University’s development into a future-proof and future-ready institution, responding to the growing needs of BiPSU’s learners and educators,” Commission on Higher Education Commissioner and Chairperson of BiPSU’s Board of Regents Dr. Aldrin A. Darilag said.

A total of 24 facilities were built in three years under University President Dr. Victor C. Cañezo, one short of his promise to build 25 facilities during his four-year term.

Meanwhile, the School of Nursing and Health Science will open for Academic Year 2022-2023, BiPSU said.
