ADMU OFFERS FREE COVID19 JABS TO STUDENTS

/ 9 December 2021

TO PROTECT its community against Covid19, the Ateneo de Manila University announced that it will vaccinate students in January.

It said that the free vaccination is in line with the campaign of the Commission on Higher Education and Department of Education to increase the vaccination rate in schools.

“We are intensifying our efforts to make the vaccines available to our students in response to the CHED and DepEd requirements for vaccination of students and teachers, and staff to be able to return to face-to-face classes, and onsite work, respectively,” ADMU said in a memorandum.

The university said that the inoculation program is only open to unvaccinated students.

It noted that booster shots will not be given to those who have already received their first or complete doses.

“We are targeting to complete the enlistment process this December and proceed with the registration in the COVIDShield through the HealthNow App for a vaccination schedule in January 2022,” ADMU said.

It advised learners to send an email to [email protected] or contact Denise Fabregas through 09301043909 for enlistment.

The inoculation will be held at UP Technohub and in its Loyola Campus.
