ADAMSON U STUDENT GROUPS SEEK END TO SEMESTER

/ 7 April 2021

STUDENT groups urged Adamson University to end the semester as the current situation was “intolerable.”

“The Covid19 pandemic has taken lives in many ways one cannot even fathom. Loss of jobs, mental defeat, and most of all loss of lives and it continues to do so for the Philippines a year into this pandemic. This atrocious situation does not exclude the students and faculty members of Adamson University,” they said in a joint statement.

They appealed to end the semester now as the situation has become “intolerable.”

The groups cited “strenuous amount of synchronous hours on top of the multiple asynchronous requirements we have to comply with all while also trying to battle with mental stress and fatigue during this Covid19 pandemic.”

They said that the welfare of the students should be given priority.
