SIX alumni of the Ateneo de Manila University made it to the Forbes under 30 Asia List of 2022.

These were Jeth Ang, Renz Chong, Billie Dumaliang, Ariane Lim, Shwantel Nicole Martinez Nieto, and Nico Odulio.

Ang, Chong, and Odulio are co-founders of BreederDAO, a startup specializing in breeding and crafting NFT characters and game items to be used in play-to-earn games like Axie Infinity, Sipher, Cyball and Crabada.

Just two months after its launch, the startup raised $10 million in series A funding.

Meanwhile, Dumaliang is a co-founder of Masungi Georeserve, a geotourism project located in Rizal.

In 2021, the conservation park received the Water Changemakers Award and a special commendation from the 2018 UN Convention on Biological Diversity.

On the other hand, Lim co-founded AcadArena, a Philippine esports startup that helps student gamers in Southeast Asia to compete in international esports tournaments.

It has partnered with more than 600 schools, covering some 100,000 students, to create and support gaming clubs and communities.

Moreover, Nieto is recognized for her work in One Cainta Food program, an initiative she started with her family at the onset of the pandemic.

Since its launch, the program has provided over 5 million food hampers to 500,000 people across 15 cities nationwide.
