FOUR graduates from Xavier University-Ateneo de Cagayan were recognized as topnotchers during the Nursing Licensure Exam oath-taking ceremony at the Philippine International Convention Center last month.

Organized by the Professional Regulation Commission and the Board of Nursing, the ceremony marked the official entry of November 2024 passers into the nursing profession.

Alexandra D. Yamson, who ranked third with a score of 92.00%, delivered an inspiring speech, encouraging fellow nurses to serve with compassion and excellence.

Also in the Top 10 were Shania Jane D. Custodio, who placed seventh with a score of 91.20%, and Jasimah P. Gutoc and Jasmin Isabelle F. Rosali, who tied for ninth place with scores of 90.80%.

The university achieved a perfect 100.00% institutional passing rate, surpassing the national passing rate of 84.99% for the November 2024 examination.

“Xavier University-Ateneo de Cagayan’s topnotchers, along with all the newly licensed nurses, have set a benchmark of excellence for future graduates to follow,” said the university in a statement.

“The entire Xavier Ateneo community beams with pride as its graduates prepare to make their mark in healthcare, embodying the spirit of ‘Men and Women for Others,’” it added.
