THREE former students of the University of the Philippines topped the Philippine Military Academy Class of 2021.

Cadet 1CL Janrey Cabanero Artus, 25, graduated summa cum laude from the PMA.

Artus, who hails from San Enrique, Negros Occidental, is the valedictorian of the 164-strong “Masaligan” (MAndirigmang SAmahan na Lakas at SandIGAN ng Bayan) Class of 2021.

He took BS Chemical Engineering in UP Visayas.

Meanwhile, Cadet 1CL Harold Mars Alicpala Sastado, an alumnus of UP Los Baños, ranked 7th.

Cadet 1CL Shirly Fatima Eguia Lim of Tacloban City placed 10th. She was one of four women in the top 10.

Lim was a Chemical Engineering student in UP Visayas. She also graduated cum laude from the PMA this year.
