11 DLSU PROFESSORS AMONG WORLD’S TOP RESEARCHERS

ELEVEN professors from the De La Salle University made it to the list of top researchers in the world based on the recent statistical analysis of Stanford University.

The rankings are based on composite citation metrics developed by a team of statisticians led by SU Professor John Ioannidis.

The list also includes 200,000 scholars from all over the world.

The DLSU professors in the list of top researchers are Raymond Tan, Luis Razon, Kathleen Aviso, and Consolacion Ragasa.

There were 32 locally-based researchers listed but only 13 were from Higher Educational Institutions.

Meanwhile, DLSU faculty members who were among the world’s leading researchers based on 2021 statistics are Prof. Tan, Prof. Allan BI Bernardo, Prof. Anthony SF Chiu, Prof. Aviso, Prof. Aristotle Ubando, Prof. Razon, Prof. Michael Promentilla, Prof. Elmer Dadios, Prof. Fides del Castillo and Dr. Ronnie Concepcion.

According to SU, researchers are classified into 22 scientific fields and 176 sub-fields. Field- and subfield-specific percentiles are also provided for all scientists with at least 5 papers.
