DICT HOLDS FREE WEBINARS FOR TEACHERS
THE DEPARTMENT of Information and Communications Technology will conduct free webinars to provide teachers strategies to make distance learning more effective.
“This free webinar will provide new skills and strategies on how to effectively teach students in the new normal. It will provide an overview of the changing education landscape amid Covid19. It will cover strategies, education technologies, and best practices, employed in open distance learning to overcome this challenge,” DICT said.
Because slots are limited, the first 100 participants from Region 10 and Caraga Region will be given priority.
Participants will receive certificates, the DICT said.
The webinars will be from November 9 to 13 and November 16 to 18.
Topics will include video editing, technology-based approaches in writing a research paper, tips and tools on collaborative work.
The holding of the webinars is part of the Digital Teachers Training Program under the DICT-ICT Literacy and Competency Development Bureau.
