CHARGES are being mulled against Jose Rizal University player John Amores for starting a brawl against players of rival team College of Saint Benilde on Tuesday night at the FilOil EcoOil Centre in San Juan.

Amores charged and punched three players from CSB during the remaining 3:22 minutes of the final quarter of the game.

CSB head coach Charles Tiu said that two of his players were brought to the hospital but they were later discharged.

Tiu said that one of the parents of his players plans to file charges against Amores.

Amores previously punched University of the Philippines’ Mark Gil Belmonte during the PG Flex Linolium UCBL Preseason Tournament which resulted in his suspension.

Amores received an NCAA sportsmanship award in 2018 in the Season 94 juniors tournament.
