PBBM LEADS INSPECTION OF TEMPORARY LEARNING SPACES IN MARAWI
PRESIDENT Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. led the inspection of Temporary Learning Spaces (TLS) that currently serve as classrooms for thousands of displaced learners and teachers in Marawi City.
During his visit, the President emphasized the importance of restoring normalcy in education as a crucial step in the city’s recovery.
He also turned over 20 laptops to teachers and distributed five Starlink internet units to improve digital access and connectivity for both educators and students.
Marcos toured the TLS facilities in Barangay Sagonsongan, where makeshift classrooms have allowed children to continue their education despite the lingering effects of conflict.
The TLS site accommodates four elementary schools and one high school, providing vital educational access to a total of 720 students.
