THE University of the Philippines’ Streetdance Club bagged the gold medal in the International Cheer Union World Cup for Hip hop Division held from October 6 to 8 in Seoul, South Korea.

UPSDC took home one of the three medals that the Philippines won at the international cheer competition.

“The UP Streetdance Club (UPSDC) has once again brought pride not only to the University but to the whole country,” UP said.

The group was the first Philippine collegiate team to compete and win as champions in the International Cheer Union World Cup.

The team thanked their coaches, families, and friends for their support and guidance.

“This trophy is for all of you,” it said.
