NATIONAL UNIVERSITY NAMED AS MICROSOFT SHOWCASE SCHOOL
FOR the fourth time, National University was named as a Microsoft Showcase School, joining other 325 educational institutions worldwide.
The NU has been a Microsoft School since 2016.
According to Microsoft, members of the Showcase School program are distinguished by their commitment to school-wide digital transformation and their move to leverage Microsoft’s Education Transformation Framework that paved the way to a culture of learning, innovation and continuous improvement.
“The dedication of these member schools to education transformation has allowed the schools to effectively manage the transition to remote and hybrid learning scenarios during the current Covid19 crisis,” Microsoft said.
“Showcase schools are being tapped to provide guidance to other schools as most educational institutions transition to remote learning and to help others navigate the challenges of the new normal,” it added.
Xavier University-Ateneo de Cagayan, Asia Pacific College, De La Salle University Dasmariñas, De La Salle University Santiago Zobel, Lyceum of the Philippines University Batangas, and Lyceum of the Philippines University Manila were also in the list of Showcase Schools for Academic Year 2020-2021.
