Education Secretary Sara Duterte-Carpio, in her message read by Assistant Secretary for Curriculum and Teaching GH Ambat, said the ILO-PH will help realize the goal of the MATATAG agenda.
Ambat also thanked USAID for its continued support to the Department to achieve the goals of MATATAG agenda.
‘MATATAG’ stands for “Makabagong kurikulum na napapanahon, Talino na mula sa isip at puso, Tapang na humarap sa ano man ang hamon sa buhay, Galing ng Pilipino, nangingibabaw sa mundo.”
USAID Deputy Education Director Yvette Malcion and Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization Innotech Deputy Director Kochakorn Acidre also expressed their support to the initiative.
USAID Improving Learning Outcomes for the Philippines Activity Lead Mitchell Rakusin presented the important aspects of ILO-PH to further develop the Department’s assessment frameworks.
