NEGROS OCCIDENTAL SDO RECEIVES RECOGNITION FROM CSC
THE SCHOOLS Division Office of Negros Occidental received a bronze award for its Maturity Level II Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management from Civil Service Commission.
The plaque of distinction was presented to representatives of the schools division by CSC 6 Regional Director Nelson Sarmiento.
The CSC said the award is a mechanism that empowers government agencies by developing their human resource management competencies, systems, and practices.
PRIME-HRM entails greater engagement not just of the human resource management officer but also of the officials and the rank-and-file employees of the agency.
Assistant Schools Division Superintendents Lynee Peñaflor and Salvacion Senayo, CESE, along with Administrative Officer V Ronald Villanueva Jr., AO IV Jasper Tadeo Tuala, Senior Education Program Specialist Dr. Rebonie Emboltorio, AO II Mary Ann Bravo were present during the awarding event.
“The award confirms that the agency is compliant with the Level 2-Maturity Indicators in four core HR Systems, particularly Recruitment, Selection and Placement; Learning and Development; Performance Management; and Rewards and Recognition,” Villanueva said.
