SCHOLARS of Cagayan de Oro City will receive free pocket WiFi for them to have stable internet connection.

Cagayan de Oro City Mayor Rolando “Klarex” Uy signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Smart Communications for the distribution of free Smart Bro Pocket WiFi.

The city’s Information Office said that 345 scholars will receive Pocket WiFi.

Richel Petalcurin-Dahay, the head of the City Scholarship Office, said that the project will help the city scholars have access to a stable internet connection for their online classes.

Students need a stable internet for their blended learning.
