THE CEBU Institute of Technology-University on Thursday announced the suspension of classes and work on January 14-16 in line with the celebration of the Sinulog Festival.

“On January 14 administrative offices will close at 11 a.m. Graduate and postgraduate classes as well as ETEEAP remediation sessions are suspended the whole day. All other approved activities scheduled after 11 a.m. are suspended,” the school said.

“On January 15, ETEEAP remediation sessions, and all approved activities are suspended the whole day. On January 16, Sinulog rest day, no work and no classes in all levels,” it added.

Office work and classes in all levels will resume on January 17.

Sinulog Festival is a traditional celebration in Cebu City held every third Sunday of January to honor the Santo Niño. It was scuttled for two years because of the Covid19 pandemic.
