THE MARIANO Marcos State University in Ilocos Norte was lauded by the Legal Education Board for its achievement in the 2020–2021 Bar Examinations, where it got a 100 percent passing record.
With such a record, the university topped the list of best law schools with 11 to 50 takers for overall performance and first-time candidates performance.
MMSU’s law Dean Brian Jay Corpuz received the award during the LEB Year-End Stakeholders’ Meeting at the Philippine International Convention Center.
“This feat of the MMSU College of Law is a product of synergy and collaboration. With all humility, this is for everyone,” Corpuz said.
MMSU President Shirley Agrupis attributed the school’s remarkable performance to their “high-caliber” law professors.
“Our law school remains in the forefront as we journey to become a premier university, and, with our high-caliber law professors, we continue to make our mark in Philippine legal education,” she said.
