THE MANDALUYONG City government distributed school supplies and hygiene kits to over 2,500 day-care students in a barangay in the city earlier this week.

Mayor Ben Abalos and other city officials led the distribution of the school supplies and hygiene kits to 2,650 daycare students of Barangay Addition Hills.

The kits included bags, coloring materials and books, notebooks and other school essentials.

The city government started the turnover of school supplies last October 6 to daycare students as they return to face-to-face classes.

Abalos said the initiative is part of the city’s efforts to improve the quality of learning.

“Ating paalala sa mga magulang, mga guro, at sa ating komunidad na magkaisa tayo sa paghubog sa kaisipan at magandang pag-uugali ng ating mga kabataan,” he said.
