CARAGA STATE U HITS 100% PASSING RATE IN SOCIAL WORKERS LICENSURE EXAM
All 27 examinees of the Caraga State University in Butuan City passed the Social Worker Licensure Examination given last February, leaving the university with a 100 percent passing rate.
It was followed by Palawan State University-Princesa with 92.31 percent passing rate.
The Professional Regulation Commission announced that 533 out of 1,211 passed the exam, which was held in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.
The exam was given by four members of Board for Social Workers, including chairman Lorna Gabad.
Meantime, Alain Matteo Ferrer Meneses of the University of the Philippines Diliman led the successful examinees with a score of 85.60 percent.
Jennifer Macalma Mones from the Asian Social Institute placed second with 84.80 percent, followed by John Ronel Lagan Salvador of CSU with 84.60.
