Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque made the pronouncement after the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) released Resolution No. 68 last September 3. 

In the final ruling of the document, it is stated that student collegiate athletic associations as defined under Republic Act No. 10676 or the Student-Athletes Protection Act, “shall be allowed to resume their preparatory training in areas under General Community Quarantine and Modified General Community Quarantine, subject to guidelines as may be issued by the Commission on Higher Education.”

Roque said the guidelines will be released by the Commission on Higher Education.

“Yung mga fans ng UAAP, magpa-practice na po ang ating mga teams,” Roque stated in a televised briefing.

Most areas in the country are under GCQ and MGCQ up until September 30, 2020.
