BLACKWATER STILL WANTS JVEE CASIO AS PART OF THE TEAM
Blackwater extended Jvee Casio to a one-year contract and is set to play at least until next season.
Casio landed on foot with the Blackwater last October after being traded for Mike Tolomia together with Barkley Eboña.
Looking back, the La Salle standout incurred an ankle injury during the Bossing’s PBA Governors’ Cup game against Phoenix and stopped him from playing more games but that didn’t hinder the squad to sign Casio again.
The Blackwater guard Casio was the last man to be offered a contract extension by Blackwater after Baser Amer, Barkley Ebona, and Paul Desiderio.
However, even though the team manager Johnson Martinez affirmed the agreement between the two parties, the extent of the deal wasn’t made available.
But one thing’s for sure, the stay of Casio to the squad is all part of the plan in restructuring the team after losing 24 straight games in PBA.
For now, Casio is still recovering from his injury.
