RAMOS WINS BATTLE AGAINST TEAMMATE THIRDY; SENDS SAN-EN TO 5TH STRAIGHT LOSS

Dwight Ramos showcased his skills again as Toyoma gained its second win in exchange for San-En Neophoenix 5th straight loss, 92-77, in the West Conference of the 2021-22 Japan B.League season yesterday at Toyama City Gymnasium.

Ramos bolstered the winning team with 15 points on an efficient 7-of-10 shooting performance while Thirdy Ravena registered 13 points for the San-En.

The first half did not look so good for Toyoma as Neophoenix ended the score of 1st quarter in their favor of 22-19 and came the second quarter Grousers was down again with a one-point deficit, 39-40.

As the Neophoenix dominated the first half of the game, it was not enough to rumble down and Toyoma retaliated immediately.

Toyoma lead ballooned to 32 points in the 3rd quarter with the help of Julian Mavunga and Joshua Smith as they register 21 and 22 points respectively.

With almost victory in their hands, the Grousers seized that opportunity and ended the game with a final score of 92-77.

Toyoma and the Neophoenix will face each other again to battle in court today.
