THE UNIVERSITY of the East will implement a two-day academic break on November 10 to 11.

UE President Ester Garcia said that only asynchronous classes will be held during the break.

The submission of quizzes and activities will not be allowed.

The school will also impose an additional break on Nov. 13 after the midterm period.

“The academic break for Saturday classes will only be on November 13, Saturday, in compliance with the number of hours per unit prescribed by the Commission on Higher Education,” Garcia said in a memorandum.

In August, Garcia announced that there will be an academic break after every major examination for the tertiary and graduate school levels for Academic Year 2021-2022.
