UNIVERSITY OF ANTIQUE GETS P15-M GRANT FOR KITCHEN EQUIPMENT
THE UNIVERSITY of Antique secured a P15-million grant from the Commission on Higher Education for its Hot and Cold Kitchen Laboratory Equipment.
The equipment will be housed at the university’s newly renovated hotel in its Sibalom campus.
UA President Dr. Pablo Crespo, Jr. said that the grant will help the school improve its services.
“This is a big boost to the program which is preparing for the Level 4 accreditation and in improving the competency of our students who will be working in the industry,” Crespo said on Facebook.
CHED Chairman Prospero de Vera III said that the grant is also in preparation for the return of the tourism industry in the Visayas.
He added that the region can become a premier tourist destination.
The UA has also secured funding for its Smart Campus project.
