MOST of the reported erroneous self-learning materials did not come from the Department of Education, the agency maintained.

“According to the latest DepEd Error Watch data, a majority of these reported materials — some of which went viral in social media — were not DepEd-produced,” a statement from the department said.

It reiterated that “an existing quality control mechanism is in place for all the learning materials being produced by the Department.”

The department encouraged the public to report their concerns on self-learning materials for distance learning directly to DepEd Error Watch.
