BICOL UNIVERSITY PARTNERS WITH DOLE FOR INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

AROUND 100 slots will be given to students of Bicol University in Albay for an internship program with the Department of Labor and Employment.

In a social media post, the school announced coordinating with Albay 2nd District Rep. Joey Sarte-Salceda, who issued Executive Order No. 139 implementing the youth work program, KABATAAN: 2000, as provided under Republic Act No. 11260 or the FY 2019 General Appropriations Act (GAA) on Government Internship Program.

“This Department Order prescribes the standards and procedures for effective implementation of the DOLE-Government Internship Program,” said the school.

Slots are available for 100 fresh graduates, undergrads, and graduates of Bicol University without any work experience.

Applicants shall bring their diploma and TOR upon submission.

Requirements shall be submitted on or before December 3 with their Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged or GIP form in the office of Salceda, Door 3, Mezzanine Flr. Annex Building, Ninong’s Hotel, Old Albay, Legazpi City.

TUPAD is a community-based package of assistance that provides emergency employment for displaced workers, underemployed and seasonal workers, for a minimum period of 10 days.
