THE PHILIPPINE Normal University on Friday released the schedule of make-up classes for its campuses in Manila, Northern Luzon and Southern Luzon to compensate for the class suspensions in October and November.

PNU President Bert Tuga released Memorandum No. 234, s. 2020 detailing the dates of the make-up classes for the undergraduate and undergraduate students.

Undergraduate students will have make-up classes on November 28, December 5, and December 12, 2020.

Meanwhile, the make-up classes for graduate students will start on December 1.

The classes will include asynchronous activities like recorded lessons, giving feedback on student submissions, conducting short assessment activities, and giving other activities which were set at the beginning of the term.

However, PNU students were not happy with the announcement, saying school officials “did not consider remote learning woes.”

“Na-adjust na ‘ho namin mga schedules ng requirement per subject na kakayanin sa natitirang araw ng Term. Bakit pa dadagdagan? Ngayon pa nga lang halos hirap na kami huminga,” a student lamented.

“E, ‘di dapat ‘di na lang po nagpa-Acad/Wellness break ng dalawang araw. Hindi na po healthy, promise! Wala na kaming natutunan. For the sake of submission na lang kaya namin ginagawa. Nakakalungkot lang talaga mga desisyion ninyo. Sana kami naman pakinggan,” another student said.
