On November 8, Gandour Philippines announced in two different posts that its TofiLuk and Safari chocolate bars will be restocked in selected outlets.

“Sweet, sulit, at swak sa bulsa? Try Tofiluk! (chocolate bar emoji) Enjoy this irresistible two-stick biscuit coated with caramel goodness today. Get yours in selected SM Hypermarket & Savemore branches today!”, Gandour Philippine’s said on a Facebook post.

The Facebook post does not specify which SM hypermarkets or Savemore outlets will stock the item. However, the author of the post replied to one comment and said:

Folks, particularly 90’s kids, shared the post and expressed their nostalgia for their favorite elementary snack. This is not surprising, as seen recently things from the past decade also re-appear among arts and music trends. Take ABBA’s Gimme! Gimme! For example that took a massive throwback on TikTok and Olivia Rodrigo’s hit album ‘Sour’ that has ‘00s elements on it. While trends come and go, it seems to be true that history repeats itself.
