TnT had previously demonstrated its strength by finishing top in Pool A with four victories before defeating Barangay Ginebra San Miguel 21-14 in the quarterfinals and Purefoods 20-16 in the semis.

The deciding game was mainly bolstered by Jeremiah Gray finishing with 11 points. And thanks to Almond Vosotros’ crucial winning point with 6.2 seconds left on the shot clock, the Tropang Giga was able to snatch away the title.

After Vosotros’ points, the man registered three points in total as well as Lervin Flores but the second man in line after Gray is Samboy de Leon who scored four points.

Tropang Giga’s victory was not only worthy of pride for the team was able to bring home Php 100,000 prize.

Meralco, on the other hand, went with Php 50,000 having Tonino Gonzaga as the main scorer of the Bolts with eight points.
