The long-awaited debut of Thirdy Ravena has been confirmed as he finally joins the team practices of NeoPhoenix last Saturday after accomplishing the 14-day quarantine period.

The journey, which took long enough due to delay issues, of the 23-year-old Ateneo standout with San-en NeoPhoenix for 2020-21 Japan B.League is officially set to begin.

The high-flyer gunner reportedly arrived in Japan on October 15 but could not join the team right away as he had to serve a mandatory 14-day quarantine period.

In a social media post on Saturday, San-En NeoPhoenix’s account posted Ravena’s official photo wearing the NeoPhoenix gear.

The shooting guard immediately socialized with the squad as San-En celebrated the 31st birthday celebration of  American import Kyle Hunt.

The coming of the Gilas Pilipinas standout has not been on a better time as the team had suffered a 1-9 win-loss record in the first division of the league.

Fortunately, San-En managed a breakthrough win last Wednesday with the splendid performance of Stevan Jelovac and Hunt, where it bested Kyoto Hannaryz, 94-75.

Meanwhile, Ravena gets more than a week to condition with the squad as he is set to make his much-anticipated appearance against Shimane Susanoo Magic at Yonago Industrial Gymnasium in Tottori on November 8.

The 6-foot-3 gunner is expected to show-off his show off his shooting prowess comparable to his supremacy in his UAAP days in Ateneo and his impeccable performance representing the Philippines with the Gilas Pilipinas.
