The statement was made after it suspended its games due to the community quarantine shift to enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) to prevent the spread of the Delta variant.

Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque however said that the league cannot consider Calabarzon as a location as it may possibly declare ECQ.

“Ang alam ko ang Clarik o ang Pampanga naman po ay walang posibilidad na mapasailalim sa ECQ or MECQ. MGCQ pa rin ang Pampanga. Dapat siguro doon na sila isa Clark humingi ng permiso, kay Secretary Vince Dizon,” Roque furthered.

PBA earlier announced the suspension of games after the implementation of ECQ in National Capital Region.
