The National Collegiate Athletic Association announced that it will provide vaccines to the league’s student-athletes and officials.
NCAA Management Committee chair Colegio de San Juan de Letran’s Fr. Vic Calvo said they have a budget for the vaccination, however, he did not disclose more information regarding the budget.
He said they are coordinating with Unilab regarding the possible purchase of the vaccine.
During the virtual forum of the Philippine Sportswriters Association, he also said that the vaccines will be for all the schools for tournaments such as volleyball and basketball.
Calvo said they might also conduct a vaccine information campaign to inform the student-athletes of the importance of the anti-COVID-19 jabs.
