MARCK ESPEJO EXCITED FOR V.LEAGUE COMEBACK

“Mas mature na player na ‘yung makikita niyo,” Marck Espejo told The Game as he is ready to gun the FC Tokyo of Japan's V.League.

The three-time UAAP champion out of Ateneo also shared that he has to settle ‘unfinished business’ in the V.league and is now excited to unleash what he learned during his stint in Thailand and Bahrain.

“For me, sobrang excited ulit. Kasi ito talaga ‘yung dream ko, na makabalik ulit sa Japan,” Espejo shared.

Espejo also looked back on his debut in Japan with Oita Miyoshi saying that his performance on that stint is just like what he did during his collegiate career, yet will be different the second time around.

Noong first time ko kasi, wala pa akong experience. So kung ano ‘yung nilalaro ko ng collegiate, parang dinala ko lang din doon. Tapos during nung season na ‘yun, kung ano ‘yung nakikita ko, ina-apply ko na lang din,” he explained.

“I think this time is a different journey and they’re going to see a player who’s more mature,” Espejo added, promising to do his best.

On the other note, when it comes to playing for the national team, he averred that his always ready to play.
