JARVEY GAYOSO LEAVES KAYA FUTBOL CLUB ILO-ILO, REJOINS AZKALS DT FOR 2021 PFL SEASON
Young football star Jarvey Gayoso ended his short stint with Kaya Futbol Club Ilo-ilo and is set to rejoin Azkals Development Team to gun the squad for the 2021 Philippines Football League (PFL) season.
The Iloilo City-based football club announced the new development yesterday and bid goodbye to Gayoso.
“It was a short, but memorable time!” Kaya-Iloilo wrote on its Instagram account.
“Salamat Jarvey Gayoso, best of luck with your return to the Azkals Development Team.”
The former UAAP MVP out of the Ateneo program joined the Kaya club just a month ago for Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Champions League yet was not able to unleash his skills.
The 24-year-old Gayoso was not able to participate in as many games as possible and had barely any appearances in some plays.
Nevertheless, Gayoso will solidify the national team with his skills from UAAP titles and was named a two-time Most Valuable Player and four-time Best Striker.
