Gold continues to rain on our no. 1 eKata, De Los Santos, after superb performances in Okinawa E-Tournament World Series and then in the Nox Dojo Markham City Open.

De Los Santos topped the elimination round of the Okinawa eTournament World Series with a score of 24.14.

De Los Santos defeated Slovenia’s Nejc Strenica in the semifinals at 24.8-24.2.

In the finals, the top male e-kata karateka in the world bested the world No. 10 Alfredo Bustamante of the United States, 24.80-24.4, which allowed him to win the gold medal in the Okinawa eTournament World Series #2 for the 20th title of his career.

In the Nox Dojo championships, De Los Santos prevailed against Ali Mirkarimi of Canada and Bustamante in the respective first two rounds and advanced to the gold medal match.

In the finals, De Los Santos swoops Switzerland’s Matias Moreno-Domont with a whopping score of 25.3 against the latter’s 24.2 of Ohan.

De Los Santos posted in his social media accounts that he is eager to widen his lead at the points ranking with more than a month to end the year.

“Continuing to widen the gap in the virtual kata world rankings! I’m much more motivated!,” De Los Santos shared in a post this Sunday.

Proud students of De Los Santos in Maharlika Karatedo Kai of the Philippines International had also bagged medals in the Okinawa eTournament World Series #2.

Julia Ian Marcos, Fatima A-Isha Hamsain, and Christina Colonia earned a couple of gold medals, two silvers, and bronze respectively.
