JALEN GREEN DROPS 32 FOR ROCKETS’ OT WIN OVER LAKERS
Rookie Jalen Green scored a season-high 32 points to help the Houston Rockets outlast Los Angeles Lakers to a 139-130 overtime victory on Wednesday.
Green took over the game for the Rockets late in the fourth quarter and overtime, scoring a combined 19 points.
Fellow rookies Josh Christopher and Alperen Sengun both scored in double figures with 21 points each. Sengun also contributed 14 rebounds.
Kenyon Martin Jr. recorded a double-double for Houston with 17 points and 11 rebounds.
The Rockets’ victory marks their second in 15 games.
Lebron James took charge for the Lakers and collected 23 points, 14 rebounds, and a season-high 12 assists for his fifth triple-double of the season, while Russell Westbrook added 30 points, eight rebounds, and six assists.
