BURLY BLOCKER CZARINA CARANDANG JOINS BANKO PERLAS, SKIPS FINAL UAAP YEAR
Banko Perlas Spikers added a new key player to its defense as it signed Czarina Carandang.
The announcement was made by Banko Perlas on their social media accounts revealing that “Cza Carandang to suit up in black and white for #PVL2021!”
“Exciting to see a different kind of #PearlPower as Czarina Carandang prepares to bring the swag to Perlas’ side of the court,” the post added.
With Carandang bringing her game to the professional league, she will be skipping her final year with the Far Eastern University (FEU) Women’s Volleyball Team.
She will be reunited with her former teammates Heather Guinoo and Gel Cayuna.
Cayuna also foregone his final UAAP year with the cancellation of games due to the coronavirus scare.
The 5-foot-7 Carandang had her stint in Philippine Superliga (PSL) with PLDT during the 2018 All-Filipino Conference.
Recently, Premier Volleyball League (PVL) has acquired the approval of the Games and Amusement Board (GAB) for its proposed training venues.
Once approved by the respective local government units, the PVL teams will be able to train again in preparation for the upcoming season penciled on April 10.
