“We wanted to keep working hard no matter what the scoreline was,” said Gayoso. 

“It was a do-or-die match so we had to make sure we got the win.”

While Gayoso went crazy on the field, ADT players did not lack off as Dennis Cung (29th), Christian Rontini (33rd), Mar Vincent Diano (35th) and Sandro Reyes (76th) chipped in and added to the squad’s scoring fray.

After such a feat at the PFF National Training Centre in Carmona, Cavite, the ADT secured a spot for the semi-finals and will face Stallion Laguna FC.

And with relentless attacks from ADT, the squad was able to gain the lost confidence after a 0-2 defeat to Kaya FC Iloilo.

“We wanted to bounce back. We had a lot of guys who were struggling mentally since we came off a loss against Kaya but at the same, we wanted to pick ourselves up and make sure we do our best in this game,” Gayoso explained.
