TESDA ACCREDITS COMTEQ AS ASSESSMENT CENTER
THE TECHNICAL Education and Skills Development Authority accredited Comteq Computer and Business College in Olongapo City as a competency assessment center for the graduates of Computer Systems Servicing.
Graduates of the program in Olongapo would no longer have to travel far to be assessed and acquire a national certificate.
Danny Piano, president of Comteq Computer and Business College and a director of the Subic Bay Freeport Chamber of Commerce, said that the school is the only CSS assessment center in Subic Bay Freeport, Olongapo City and in the towns comprising the first district of Zambales.
“Because of online learning, the need for CSS graduates has increased dramatically,” Piano said.
“The 350-hour course has shown rapid growth here because of online learning, and Comteq’s accreditation as a Competency Assessment Center for Computer Systems Servicing NC 2 is timely as even some villages are now offering CSS courses,” he added.
TESDA has a number of scholarships, including CSS, which offers not only tuition coverage but a P5,600 allowance, insurance, free personal protective equipment and internet allowance.
