TO SHOW  the city government’s support to teachers, Tabuk Mayor Darwin Estrañero has started distributing cash assistance to personnel of the Department of Education.

“The city government is committed to continuing its support to the programs of DepEd Tabuk City, especially in developing the youth of today who will be leaders of tomorrow,” Estrañero said.

At the inauguration of the new division office building, Estrañero said that the city council aims to institutionalize the city government’s support through an ordinance.

The cash amount for each teaching and non-teaching personnel will be released and received according to the schedule set by the division office.

Schools Division Superintendent Irene S. Angway said that the recipients were grateful for the cash assistance of P1,000.
