The Department of Education announced the school is 100 percent solar-powered.

DepEd engineers and officials conducted a final inspection of the 4-classroom building of the school.

“This is 100% solar-powered, including the street lights towards the school building, and the water pumping station is likewise solar-powered,” Engr. Felman Cecilio of DepEd Samar said.

A 17-KWP Hybrid Solar Power System with 40-KWH Lithium Energy Storage powers the entire four-classroom structure.

The new building has PWD ramps and toilets, as well as a functional handwashing area.
